# Make a product demo that proves one thing.

A product demo shows a real action and its result. Use this workflow to turn a recording into a short, understandable story instead of a tour of every feature.

This is an original VibeClip workflow brief, not an installable Agent integration. Use it with the editing tools you have available. VibeClip is in development.

## Inputs

- A clean recording of one complete product task
- The target viewer, desired action and exact product copy
- Output duration, aspect ratio and any approved brand assets

## Copy this brief

Create a 30-second product demo for a first-time user. Use my recording to show one task from starting state to visible result. Open with the problem in one sentence, show the action, then hold on the outcome. Cut waiting time while preserving the order of the steps. Add at most three short annotations. Keep text and timing editable. Tell me which inputs or editing tools are missing before substituting anything.

## Review the result

- [ ] A viewer can name the task and outcome after one watch.
- [ ] Every product claim is supported by the actual recording.
- [ ] Text stays readable at the intended viewing size.
- [ ] The final action has enough time to be understood.

## Begin with the result

Choose a result the viewer can recognize: a message sent, a report created or an image exported. Record that full task once, including its initial state. A montage of unrelated screens makes it harder to see what caused the result. Keep the source recording as your reference when reviewing shortened versions.

## Build a three-part cut

1. **Context:** name the viewer’s problem in a short opening card. Skip a long logo introduction.
2. **Evidence:** show the minimum sequence of actions that produces the result. Remove loading time and dead pointer movement; retain state changes and any required setup.
3. **Outcome:** hold on the completed result, then show one next action. Do not cover the result with the closing message.

A 30-second example could allocate four seconds to context, twenty to the demonstration and six to the result and call to action. These are planning choices, not a required template. Give complicated steps more space instead of making every cut the same length.

## Revise a specific moment

Ask for one focused change: “At the save step, keep the confirmation visible for another second.” This is easier to judge than “make it more polished.” For a vertical version, redesign the screen crop and annotation placement; shrinking an entire desktop window rarely makes the important control legible.

## Keep an editable handoff

Retain the recording, title text, timing decisions and project source. If a feature changes later, you should be able to replace that sequence without rebuilding the whole video. Review the exported file separately from the editor preview.
